Success And Iheanacho To Start Upfront Together?

Isaac Success And Kelechi Iheanacho Giving Manu Garba A Selection Headache

The fine form of Isacc Success and Kelechi Iheanacho is currently threatening Coach Manu Garba's preferred starting line-up against Brazil.

Manu Garba has said so many times about knowing which players will start for Nigeria in their opening game but that claim appears not to be the same anymore.

Granada's Isaac Success had a rare start upfront in his first training session with the team and pairing Awoniyi in attack they dovetailed nicely with both forwards scoring three goals each.

On his part, Manchester City Kelechi Iheanacho’s fine form for his team before joining his colleagues might see him edge out Kingsley Sokari for the role of the man behind the strikers.

Iheanacho played in the role in same training sessions but unlike Sokari who appears contented with setting up goals, the Man City wonderkid scored a hat-trick, much to the delight of the coaches.

In two training sessions, he has now scored 5 goals and that form might force the coaches to drop Sokari in his favour ahead of the Brazil game.

The dilemma sits nicely with the coaches as it proves they have the best legs in camp. Even Musa Yahaya is struggling to nail a spot down the left as in form Saviour Godwin is pushing the Tottenham Hotspurs teen star for same role.

STARTIMES have been given the exclusive right to air all the matches including all the fifa women world cup matches. And you can get all their set up including decoder, outside antenna and two months subscription for a paltry sum of #5000. IMAGINE! For me, it's bye bye to DSTV for now. NONSENSE! !!!

Argentina has a very good team. But Panama's No:10, Rodriguez, has been impressive and scored a cracker of an equaliser to bring the scores to 1-1, after Argentina went ahead. @Agu, HT: Ghana 0 vs 0 Austria: Austria, the better team in this half, causing Ghana all sorts of problems.

@Emotion, Can you tell me what your uncle Keshi too has achieved in the league? Emotion open your mind also, not just your eyes because the mind sees more than the eye.(this saying is for those who are intelligent to understand).

@Emotion, for you to know it takes good coaches to succeed in U20, go and ask your brother Keshi and he will tell you that he led nigeria u20 to AYC 2001 and failed to win a single match. And if I remember correctly his team even failed to score any goal. So Emotion you see how hard it is to succeed with the youth teams. So appreciate those who have succeeded and are succeeding.

@Tartan. In fact from the three games I've seen so far. It seems this is Flying Eagles time. As much as I'm willing to take it one match at a time, the team that will defeat the Flying Eagles will really have to be an OGBONGE team.

I don't see anything special about the Argentine team, they have only one player Angel Correa that's it. They will find it very tough against Ghana.
