Legendary club, Stationery Stores of Lagos are optimistic of featuring in the apex football league in Nigeria.
 
The chairman of Stationery Stores, Tilewa Adebajo has told sl10.ng in chat at the Lagos that the 'Adebajo Babes' won't feature in the amateur division which they relegated to after their come back to league football in Nigeria.
 
Stationery Stores FC couldn't survive the drop after prosecuting the Nigeria National League (NNL)  with a bulk of the players they inherited from Union Bank FC who gave Stationery Stores their slot in the NNL but the chairman of Stationery Stores FC, Tilewa Adebajo has hinted sl10 that he's looking at featuring in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) next season.
 
When he was asked if Stationery Stores FC will feature in the amateur division next season he simply replied that the Flaming Flamingos won't play in the amateur division.
 
" You can expect Stores in the National League or Premier league," Adebajo replied.
 
"We've got some options to play around with which are interesting. We can play in the national league or premier league, it all depends on the kind of sponsorship we have but I can assure you that Stationery Store FC of Lagos, the Flaming Flamingos won't play in the amateur division next season,"Adebajo declared.
 
The darling team of Lagos brought some rare excitement into local football when the Adebajo Babes came back to league football in Nigeria after a sixteen years absence but their come back didn't go smoothly as the team drowned in the relegation waters.
