“For the past year SL10.ng has tried to be at the cutting edge of Nigerian football news, and we are very proud of all those involved in the site. We have broken thousands of stories, and strived to represent all of the football fraternity in Nigeria. 

“To our community of loyal readers, it is you who we will miss the most, and while you were still small and growing, thank-you for your loyalty, and we hope that you will continue to support Nigerian football with all passion and fervour you have shown on the site, and follow us to our new location.

“They say ‘imitation is the sincerest form of flattery,’ and if that is the case, thank-you to the HUNDREDS of Nigerian (and global) media outlets who copied our stories over the year (a special thanks to those who sourced us rather than just copy-and-pasted).

“To all those who contributed to SL10.ng and to our social media platforms, the regular writers, the guest bloggers, thank-you. Your passion was contagious.

“And special thanks to those who experimented with me with different innovations, like Chris Oguguo and the SL10 Web Radio Show last year, Toyin Ibitoye and his World Cup Diaries (and Toyin’s Thought thereafter), Akinlolu Alonge for his dedicated live coverage on Twitter, Ademetan Abayomi and his team of NPL match reporters who did reports for EVERY NPL game for over a year, and of course those dedicated news-hounds who shall remain nameless, you know who you are.

“To ALL the Nigerians I have interacted with since being involved with the site, thank-you for being so welcoming, and heart-warming. I have made friends for life, and Nigeria will always own a piece of my heart (except when they play Bafana Bafana of course).
