Martins: Rangers Lucky To Have Our Golden Jewel
Christ Ambassador coach, Martins Uwanaka, has stated that Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) team, Enugu Rangers are lucky to have his former captain, Aguda Godwin.
The influential captain of the Lagos FA Cup champions, Aguda recently joined Rangers Int'l of Enugu on loan and he has featured in two games for the Flying Antelopes but his former coach has insisted that Aguda's quality can't go unnoticed where ever he goes.
"Godwin Aguda popularly known as 'Wambe' was our former captain, he's an influential figure in our team, he is a leader both on and off the pitch and commitment is excellent," Coach Martins told SL10.ng
He continued:" Aguda is a player I know too well,he works very hard both on and of the pitch, his qualities can't go unnoticed and his leaderships traits is one his biggest asset. Though we would miss him in our team but we've a proper replacement for him at Christ Ambassador"
"We've received encouraging calls from the technical crew of Rangers Int'l on the performances of Godwin Aguda and in all sense of modesty, I'm really not surprised at such news," Coach Martins stated.
Godwin Aguda helped his former team, Christ Ambassador lift the State FA Cup in April 2015 and he has since left to Enugu Rangers on a season long loan.
