Oghenekaro Etebo Returns To Warri Wolves After Italian Trial
With uncertainties surrounding his proposed move to Italy's Serie A side Udinese, where he was speculated to have underwent a trial, Warri Wolves diminutive forward Oghenekaro Etebo is back at the club and is set to feature against Crown in Ibadan.
"I can confirm to you that Etebo Oghenekaro is back and will feature for Warri Wolves on Wednesday against Crown FC in Ibadan. It is a good thing that he is joining us now that we are doing everything possible to consolidate our position," said team press officer Moses Etu.
"He is a good player and a delight to watch, scoring goals at ease. We are all excited to have him back and I know that he is going to terrorize defenders with his sublime skills"
Meanwhile the man in question, top scorer for Warri Wolves last season with 13 goals, Etebo thanked fans who wished him well while he was away and hopes to make up for his time away and help his team's aspiration this season.
"I am happy to be back to my team and it is my hope to help the team grow and position them where they belong".
Warri Wolves are presently third on the NPFL table after 13 games with 20 points, three points behind leaders Sharks.
