Deployed into the center of the defence and managed to frustrate Chiefs' Abraw for most of the game.

Thandani Ntshumayelo: 6

Much like Sarr, Ntshumayelo only stamped his authority on the game in the second half and was unlucky not to score as well.

Thabo Qalinge: 6.5

Proved to be a real spark for the Buccaneers, most notably in the second half and was rightly appreciated by the crowd.

Sifiso Myeni: 6

Didn't have the same impact have Makola, although he did provide more with for the Buccaneers.

Kaizer Chiefs Ratings:

Itumeleng Khune: 6

Khune was the busier of the two goalkeepers and produced a couple fine saves. Although an injury ended his game in the 70th minute.

Siboniso Gaxa: 6.5

One of Chiefs' better performers on the day. He defended well on the right side of the defence and did well to frustrate Qalinge in the early stages of the game. Although, he was less effective going forward.

Eric Mathoho: 6

Looked impressive in the opening 45 minutes and made a few interceptions but could have done a bit better for the Pirates goal in the second half.

Lorenzo Gordinho: 6

Put in another consistent display alongside Mathoho and looked comfortable whenever he was in possession of the ball.

Tsepo Masilela: 6

It was a quiet afternoon for the Chiefs full-back on the offensive end, although he was impressive defensively, frustrating Rakhale.

Willard Katsande: 7

Chiefs stand-out player on the day, popped up with the opening goal and was a real presence in the middle of the park.
