Ini Umotong On Cloud Nine For Super Falcons Call Up

An invite to the Super Falcons camp will no doubt make Ini Umotong's dream of playing international football a reality. 

The Pompey forward, Ini recently helped her club to the Hampshire FA Challenge Cup final, scoring twice in the total 7-0 bashing of Poole Town. David Brown of Thenews.co.uk wrote, the international call-up news caps a great time for Umotong who has enjoyed a sensational season so far with Pompey Ladies.

Ini Umotong should be an interesting addition to the Super Falcons, she's on 20 goals after 12 matches. 

Ini Umotong expressed her joy in playing international football and the experience she's expecting when she joins up with her colleagues in the Nigerian camp. 

‘It’s always been my dream to play international football. I was so excited when I got the call. So happy. It will be a great experience".

‘I have got an official invite for the one-month camp. It looks like I will go for two weeks of it. It will be the second two weeks because I’m studying at university. The camp starts on Sunday and runs until March 22,"Ini told Thenews.

The Super Falcons will hope to impress at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup and that will be a dream for the Nigerian, Ini Umotong.
