SA Trio Arrive For French Trials

Keanu Cupido, Tholang Masegela & Karabo Ngwenya Have Arrived For Trials In France

The South African trio of Keanu Cupido, Tholang Masegela and Karabo Ngwenya have all touched down in France to begin trials with a French Ligue 1 outfit.

While the name of the club has not been confirmed as of yet, the Siya crew has been informed that the teenagers have all arrived in Europe to spend some time training with a top-flight side there.

The country is not new to Cupido and Masegela – both of whom have previously trained with Lille – however, it will be a new experience for Ngwenya, who will be relying on his fellow 18-year-olds to help him out as they all look to impress at the club.

A large positive for the trio is that their compatriot, Lebo Mothiba, is currently impressing with Lille after signing his first professional contract earlier this year, and they will take heart from the success of the 20-year-old Olympian.

Cupido, who signed for Bidvest Wits earlier this year, did well on his last spell with Lille, however, injury cut his time short and he will be hoping to do better this time around and impress the technical team of his potential suitors.

It remains to be seen how long the teenagers will be given to impress, but it is known that they arrived in the last few days.
