Abia Warriors striker, Chisom Chikatara, hopes to score more goals in the 2014/15 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

The Abia Warriors player has rattled in three goals to help his team so far in the six-week old NPFL campaign.

He scored the only goal as the Ladan Bosso led side edged Shooting Stars 1-0 in a match day six tie played at the Umuahia Township Stadium last week Sunday.

''We have started well and I'm happy that I have scored three goals so far in the ongoing season,'' Chikatara told SL10.

''I want to continue scoring in every match I am selected to help Abia Warriors pick a continental ticket.

''It's tough but I believe it's possible. Last season I performed beyond expectation but I want to do much better and that's my target.

Abia Warriors will be hoping to improve their position on the league table when they tackle Nasarawa United at the Lafia Township Stadium on Sunday 3rd May.

So far this season, Chikatara has scored three goals in the elite division.
