Best:

Musa Nyatama: 6.5/10

The midfielder put in a solid showing in the middle of the park, as he orchestrated most of Pirates' attacks. He was also named Man of the Match.

Happy Jele: 6.5/10

Jele put in a solid showing in the heart of the Pirates and was key to keeping a clean sheet.

Innocent Maela: 6.5/10

Maela seems to be making the left-back spot his own now. He was impressive going forward and hardly put a foot wrong defensively.

Isaac Nhlapo: 6/10

Despite falling a sleep for the opening goal, Nhlapo was impressive for the rest of match and was key to keeping the score at 1-0.

Bernard Morrison: 6.5/10

Morrison returned to the line-up and he did not disappoint in the first half. He got the game's only goal and was a real threat down the left flank.

Wayne Sandilands: 6/10

The Pirates shot-stopper commanded his box whenever balls flew into the box, and he produced a superb save to deny Ajax a point late in the second half.

Worst:

Erwin Isaacs: 4/10

Isaacs had a tough time dealing with Maela and Morrison, and drew a number of fouls, most notably in the first half.

Tahsreeq Morris: 4/10

Morris was lively upfront for Ajax, but squandered a couple chances, included an opportunity in second-half stoppage time.

Thabo Qalinge: 4/10

Qalinge was let down by his decision-making on the day. He also squandered a very good chance to double Pirates' lead in the second half.

Grant Margeman: 4/10

The Young midfielder was energetic in midfield, but was guilty of losing possession too easily at times.

Qalinge's decision making wasn't up to the expected par seriously, he is a gud player indeed but last nite aykhona. Timeously he was biting the dust & i got worried whether it was real or a stunt. I admire Maela, he hasn't disappointed yet.
