PSL Match Venue Changed Again
Absa Premiership Match Venue Changed
The Premier Soccer League match venue for Chippa United and Cape Town City has been changed again.
Earlier this week, on Tuesday, Chippa confirmed that their upcoming league match against Cape Town City had been moved from Mdantsane’s Sisa Dukashe Stadium to the Absa Stadium in East London.
At the time, club chairman, Siviwe Mpengesi, confirmed that the Sisa Dukashe pitch did not meet the required PSL standards.
However, the Port Elizabeth outfit has now confirmed that stadium in Mdantsane has been declared ready to host the game for the Chilli Boys and City on October 22.
As confirmed by the Eastern Cape club, the game will start at 15h30. Prior to hosting City, Chippa will have Maritzburg United visit them at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium for their league match next Wednesday.
Chippa are still in search of their first win in four games under Teboho Moloi. The team is 12th on the PSL log with just one win in their seven games thus far this season.
