Revealed: The Whopping Contract That Made Dani Alves Snub Pep Guardiola Reunion

By David Kappel - Jul 12, 2017 08:00 PM @kappilinho

Dani Alves seemed destined to reunite with Pep Guardiola, but a whopping contract offer has lured him to Paris Saint-Germain. Find the details of Alves' reported salary here.

The Brazil right back, who terminated his contract with Juventus by mutual consent, already played for Guardiola at FC Barcelona and reports suggested both will reunite at Manchester City.

However, the Citizens reportedly dropped their interest in Alves after hearing that the French giants almost offered Alves twice as much as they were ready to pay.

According to SkySports, PSG offered the Brazilian a two-year contract worth a total of £25 million (R433m) in wages, equaling to £230 000 (R4m) per week.

City themselves, who had thought Alves would join the team’s US tour in Houston on Monday, were only prepared to pay £6 million (R104m) per year, equal to £115 000 (R2m) per week.

Guardiola will now have to turn his attention to other targets, with Tottenham Hotspur right back reportedly remaining as the first choice full back for the Spaniard.

City already signed goalkeeper Ederson as well as Bernardo Silva.

Admin you must do well your calculation man, £115 000 is equals to R2,6 million not 26 m, tjo not even Messi of Ronaldo are getting that amount so who's Alves. Messi per week is £1 million which is equals to R16 million.

These editors are drunk yesterday they said Masesi gonna get 17 million per week ..Alves 40 million per week ...people jump up and down here . .others were calling Masesi their God ..Someone said Masesi is in heaven.... Now Alves gonna get 40 m ...they run naked here...who is fooling who here ??... If editor wanted to ryt 4 million ..which means yesterday he made a mistake he was supposed to ryt 1.7 million not 17 million...
