Kylian Mbappe and Radamel Falcao were on target, to help AS Monaco progress to the UEFA Champions League semi-finals with a 5-3 aggregate win over Borussia Dortmund.
Monaco came into the tie with a slight advantage, having secured a 3-2 win in the first leg.
The hosts broke the deadlock after just three minutes when Mbappe slotted home from close range, after Mendy's strike had been saved.
Dortmund nearly leveled matters in the 14th minute, but Nuri Sahin's curling free-kick crashed against the crossbar.
Monaco doubled their lead in the 17th minute as Thomas Lemar picked out Radamel Falcao, who headed into the bottom corner from close range.
The visitors suffered a blow after 30 minutes when Erik Durm picked up a knock, although he was replaced by Ousmane Dembele, who scored in the first leg.
However, Dortmund continued to struggle in the first half as Monaco maintained a two-goal lead heading into the break.
The visitors pulled a goal back in the 48th minute as Dembele skipped past his marker before pulling the ball back for Rues, who slotted into the top corner.
Falcao squandered a chance to extend Monaco's lead in the 65th minute when he was played through on goal, but the Colombian fired over the bar with only Roman Burki to beat.
Subasic came to the home side's rescue in the 74th minute, as the Monaco shot-stopper pulled off a fine stop to keep out Reus' stinging effort.
Dortmund pushed for another goal in the closing stages, but it was the French outfit who grabbed the third goal in the 81st minute courtesy of a strike from substitute Valere Germain, who scored his first touch of the game.
