Tau And Vila At Risk Of Missing Chiefs Clash
Percy Tau And Sibusiso 'Vila' Vilakazi At Risk Of Missing Kaizer Chiefs Clash
Mamelodi Sundowns’ Percy Tau and Sibusiso ‘Vila’ Vilakazi are at risk of missing their Absa Premiership clash against Kaizer Chiefs at the FNB Stadium next month.
The Premier Soccer League confirmed that both Tau and Vilakazi have accumulated three yellow cards so far, which means that should the Masandawana duo pick a fourth yellow card caution in tonight’s Absa Premiership encounter, they will have to watch from the stands when they travel away to face the Amakhosi next month.
Sundowns will host Polokwane City at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium this evening, March 14, and indications are that head coach Pitso Mosimane could once again look to make some changes to his squad, in order to keep his key men fit for this weekend’s clash.
The Brazilians will travel away to Uganda on Saturday, March 18, where they will face Kampala City in the second leg of the CAF Champions League competition.
Now, it remains to be seen whether or not Mosimane will look to possibly rest both Tau and Vila for Saturday’s encounter, and at the same time ensure that the duo do not pick up another yellow card so that they can be part of his match day squad when they lock horns with the Glamour Boys in their next Absa Premiership encounter on April 1.
