Masalesa Stretchered Off, Misses Next Game
Lehlogonolo Masalesa Picked Up An Injury This Weekend
Lehlogonolo Masalesa will miss AE Larissa’s next game after picking up an injury in the 1-0 defeat to Panionios on Saturday.
‘Vieira’ has been making a real name for himself at Larissa since his move in January, and has quickly managed to secure a regular spot in Sakis Tsiolis’ starting XI.
However, Masalesa will now be forced to miss a game for the first time since arriving in Greece, with the 24-year-old set to sit out this weekend’s clash with Panaitolikos.
The Siya crew has been informed that the former Orlando Pirates man will face around 10 days on the sidelines due to his ankle injury, although he will be hoping to get back out on the field as soon as possible and help his side in their final push for the season.
It has already been confirmed that Larissa cannot finish in the Champions League play-off spaces in the Greek Super League, so they will be focused on making sure that they finish as high up the table as possible after easing their relegation worries in recent weeks.
