Simon Moses Red Carded In Belgium
Gent new signing Simon Moses was yesterday sent off in the Belgium cup tie against Lokeren which they won 1-0.
The 19 year old Nigerian was introduced in the 70th minute for Benito Raman and got his marching orders less than a minute after coming on for a rash tackle.
That was the first red card of his professional career that has seen him play in two different countries in Slovakia and Belgium.
However his red card didn't cost his team as they hung on to claim all three points and progress to the next round of the Cup in Belgium on a 5-1 aggregate win.
He moved to Gent on the 7th of January from AS Trencin of Slovakia after scoring over 25 goals in just a year with the team.
His made his debut for his new side in a 3-1 victory away at Mouscron playing the last ten minutes as manager Hein Vanhaezebrouck slowly introduce him to Belgium football.
