Orelesi Heading To Ukraine
Official: Orelesi Completes Move To Zaporizhya
Skënderbeu Korçë can confirm that midfielder Nurudeen Orelesi has joined Ukrainian Premier League side Metalurh Zaporizhya in a permanent deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old made a total of 66 first-team appearances for The Snow Wolves and was a key part of the club's three consecutive Albanian Superliga titles.
After making his breakthrough at the start to his career at Bolowotan Football Club and First Bank Football Club, Orelesi signed on the dotted lines for Dinamo Tirana in 2010.
Born in Lagos, Orelesi also achieved international recognition in 2009, winning four caps for the Flying Eagles at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Egypt.
The no nonsense midfielder started his Ukraine adventure in style as he featured in Zaporizhya's 2-0 friendly win over Dnipro on Sunday.
An official of Skënderbeu exclusively told SL10, “Everyone at Skënderbeu would like to thank Orelesi for his contribution to the Club and wish him well in his future career.”
