Starting XI: Barca v Valencia

Spanish La Liga Starting XI: Barcelona v Valencia 19 March 2017

By SL International - Mar 19, 2017 08:37 PM

Spanish La Liga

Teams: Barcelona v Valencia

Date: 19 March 2017

Venue: Camp Nou

FC Barcelona will be looking to get their title charge back on track when they host Valencia at the Camp Nou this evening.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 21h45.

The Catalan suffered a set back in their pursuit of the title last weekend, after they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Deportivo La Coruna.

Neymar returns to starting line up, after missing last weekend's defeat. While, Jeremy Mathieu has returned to the match day squad.

Valencia, meanwhile, will be hoping for a return to winning ways as they come into the encounter winless in their last two encounters.

Former Manchester United winger, Nani and Rodrigo will miss the clash through injury.

Luis Enrique's charges claimed the spoils when these two sides met earlier in the season, running out 3-2 winners at the Mestalla.

Here's how they line up:

Barca: Ter Stegen; Mascherano, Pique, Umtiti; Busquets, Rakitic, Iniesta; Messi; Rafinha, Suarez, Neymar.

Valencia: Alves; Montoya, Garay, Mangala, Gaya; Parejo, Perez; Cancelo, Soler, Orellana; Munir.

Some people are talking Messi, if we could face facts and not be blinded by the love we have both players, then no body will deny the fact that messi is on his worst form since he was branded one of the best players in football history, the proof is most of Barcelona games are inspired by Neymar and Suarez.

Messi brace and he should have had 3 assist if Suarez,Neymar and Rhafinha were clinical in front of goal. Nevertheless a deserved win by the mighty Barça. Messi the greatest player of all time.
