55’ Just ten minutes gone in the second half and Ghana are back to showing their authority as they extend their lead to 4-0, Ethiopia looking for damage control at the moment..
50’ GOAL! Fantastic defense-splitting ball finds Ayew down the left flank, he squares for Gyan, but the Ethiopian stopper parries just for it to fall to the feet of Dwamena who makes no mistake on his debut! 4-0 Ghana!
46’ Teams are back out for the second half and we are back underway here at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium as Ghana will be looking for more of the same from the first half as they lead Ethiopia 3-0.

38’ Just under ten left to play in the first half and the game has slowed down drastically, Ethiopia have found their feet and are looking a little stronger in all areas of the game, they yet to register a shot on target though.
34’ First yellow card of the game is issued to Panom after he crunched Ayew on the halfway line.
30’ Ghana continue to look for inroads through the Ethiopian defense, Ayew and Gyan look the most dangerous for The Black Stars. Ghana almost break through but are denied the chance as the linesman raises his flag for offside.

0’ Good afternoon and welcome to our coverage of today's AFCON Qualifier between Ghana and Ethiopia, here at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Ghana.
0’ Ghana XI: R. Ofori (GK), Afful, Agbenyenu, Boye, Amartey, E. Ofori. Agyepong, Partey, Gyan, Dwamena, A. Ayew. Ethiopia XI: Mamo (GK), A. Tesfaye, Kasim, Tamene, S. Tesfaye, Mesfin, Panom, Oukri, Bekele, Gidey, Kebede.
0’ The Black Stars will be looking to start well after they came close twice but failed to clinch the Africa Cup of Nations title in 2015 and 2017, coupled with a terrible start to the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
